The rose is significant of our life as we travel each day. It carries the prickly thorns on its stems until the florist cuts it away.

It is just like our lives burdened with much pains, temptations and frustrations that sometimes we almost give up in our everyday struggle. The florist represents our Father, our Creator and it is Him through Christ Jesus that our thorns are cut off one by one as He alone carried the weight of the world for our salvation.
