Desires are granted that are righteous because we are promised them through the word in the scriptures. While our desires are granted, it is not a free giveaway. We have to truly want our desires and our actions must reflect our wants. If we want something our actions should indicate that we are willing to work for them and to do our part in recieving our gifts and desires. Our desires must also be righteous and morally correct on accordance to the lords plan.
